5. Online Lessons (Zoom) 

Online lessons are delivered using Zoom. ​

When you attend a Zoom lesson, Zoom may process personal data such as your name, email address, and technical information (for example, IP address or device data). Zoom acts as a third-party data processor and handles data according to its own privacy policy. I recommend reviewing Zoom’s privacy policy for more information. ​

I do not record lessons nor is it permitted for students to record lessons.

 

6. Payments 

Payments are accepted via: 

  • Stripe (online card payments) 

  • Bank transfer ​

When you pay via Stripe, your payment details are processed securely by Stripe. I do not store or have access to your full card details. Stripe processes your data according to its own privacy policy. 

For bank transfers, I will receive basic payment information such as your name, bank details, and payment reference, which are used only for accounting and record-keeping purposes. 

7. How Your Data Is Stored 

Your data is stored securely using reasonable technical and organisational measures. This may include: ​

  • Password-protected devices 

  • Secure email and cloud services 

  • Trusted third-party platforms used for teaching and payments ​

I take reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure. 

8. Sharing Your Data 

I do not sell or rent your personal data. ​

Your information may be shared only with trusted third parties where necessary to run my business, including: 

  • Zoom (for online lessons) 

  • Stripe (for payment processing)

All third parties are expected to handle your data responsibly.

As I teach international students online, your personal data may be accessed or processed outside your country of residence. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure your data is protected in line with applicable data protection laws.

I keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide my services and meet legal or accounting obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted.
